Just remember, these are elected officials and our tax dollars are being used for this.

This is what its like serving people. People want straight answers to questions they fundamentally don’t understand. They don’t even understand the language you use. There is a very definite answer to what ‘wifi’ is, but a lot of oldies have their own understanding which is seperate from fact, but they believe to be fact. So when you try to explain it to them it gets to a point where they not only don’t understand it, but they don’t want to understand it.

These people here, its not that they don’t understand the tech at hand. Its that they simply don’t want to. And so they never will.

Hang on. Asking questions in a political context is never just about what you know. It’s often about revealing answers that you have already researched.

The first is revealing that Google is tracking location data and it is on by default, whether it is used or not.

The third is about revealing that Google is essentially conducting constant surveillance of internet presence just to provide search results – not of their customers alone but of EVERYONE.

The most basic operations of a phone or the internet are massive security risks, and how to legislate protections requires examinations of those most basic operations.

TIL that in 2013 a scientist injected human brain cells into a mouse brain, which improved the mouse’s memory and capacity to learn

via reddit.com

To stop it from conquering the planet they injected human brain cells from an incompetent weirdo into a seperate mouse and then put the two mice in the same cage so the silly mouse will always frustrate the terrifying genius mouse’s plans

I wonder what they’re doing tonight

The same thing they do every night.
