Still my favorite Batman movie FIGHT ME

#interview footage from back in the day is rare and treasured  #to see keaton talk about the dynamic as he saw it is a delight  #on the one hand i like the bruce wayne as bat dad sensible and mature adult version of the character  #but on the other hand i love the version where he looks at a woman constantly on the brink of a screaming hysterical breakdown  #channelling that into inappropriate unpredictable behaviour  #and just goes ‘oh hard same’

What is the best part of this?

1) That Elliot is pretty clearly playing from the Alec Hardison Book of Trolling People You Hate

2) That he legitimately did this ‘simply humanly impossible’ trick with a gun

3) That he possibly did it specifically because he was thinking about the JFK assassination, not just on the job but possibly out of sheer curiousity / for funsies.

4) That Sterling knows Elliot’s file well enough to quote chapter and verse like that.

5) That Sterling knows Elliot’s history well enough to choose something to put in the coffee that he wouldn’t immediately recognize and stop drinking.

5) That Elliot is right about the coffee.

mb: Danny Ocean & Rusty Ryan

#this sort of thing is legitimately better than the standard ‘finishing each other’s sentences’  #or just saying it at the same time  #the whole just not speaking words like humans  #just sort of random sentence fragments bc the drift compatibility is doing all the heavy lifting  #[WORDS WITHOUT CONTEXT]  #[OTHER RANDOM WORDS]  #[danny and rusty turn and act as one]  #everyone else: what just happened.  #I live for this sort of dialogue character building malarkey
